It's almost that time of year! The time when the kitchen smells of pumpkin pie and baked apples and spices. When mom tries to get the biggest turkey she can find - and then tries to figure out how she's going to find a pan big enough and whether it will fit in the oven.
The time when family gathers to watch football games, either at the old high school or on TV. When we remember what we are thankful for and we are mostly thankful to have each other.
This year, why not have (or give) a great apron! You know you want one to keep all the turkey guts off you when you clean it out, and of course to keep the grease and other food stuff off your lovely Thanksgiving ensemble. And those of you invited to go to the homes of friends and family, why not give one to the hostess as a gift to remember you year after year?
And if you're going to buy an apron, you don't want some boring plain one. And you don't want some silly "Kiss the Cook" one. Get a great Thanksgiving themed apron, or perhaps one with a vintage label for that nostalgia lover.
